Point Pleasant Beach Public Schools Earn Middle States Accreditation

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS) announced today that the Point Pleasant Beach public schools in Ocean County, Nj. have earned accreditation, the gold standard for measuring and evaluating school performance. Both the elementary school and the high school were accredited as a system.

Forty Catholic Schools Earn Top Recognition from Middle States Association

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS) announced today that 40 Catholic schools in 11 dioceses and archdioceses earned accreditation or reaccreditation, the gold standard for measuring and advancing school improvement.

More Than 150 Schools around World Earn Top Recognition from Middle States Association

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS) announced today that 167 schools and school systems in 17 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and 15 other countries have earned accreditation or reaccreditation, the gold standard for measuring and advancing school improvement.

Let’s Have A Better School Year, Not Just Another New One
Message from MSA President Henry G. Cram, Ed.D
Beginning a new school year is often viewed as a fresh start. It is often considered an opportunity for students, teachers, parents and even school administrators to close the book on the prior year and set new goals for the year to come.

But viewing a new school year as a chance to start over or as a clean slate misses the potential for meaningful growth based on lessons learned from prior failures and successes.

We are happy to announce the recipients of this year’s Susan K. Nicklas Outstanding Volunteer Award and F. Laird Evans Outstanding Volunteer Award. These annual awards recognize dedicated volunteers who have advanced the mission of the Middle States Association to foster continuous school improvement through accreditation so all students receive the highest quality education possible. 

This year’s recipients are Teresa Corcoran-Tadley, Joseph C. Goode, Miguel A. Rosa Lugo and Paul Johnson, Ed.D.
