Volunteers Wanted for MSA-CESS Visiting Teams

By March 16, 2022No Comments

Volunteers are central to the success of the MSA-CESS accreditation process.

During the peer review phase of the accreditation process, a volunteer team of highly qualified, professional educators visits a school to validate its work, celebrate its strengths and provide guidance for improvement.

Visiting teams are composed of educators from Middle States accredited schools who volunteer their time with the support of their school leadership. Volunteering with Middle States provides important opportunities for professional development and personal growth that include:

The chance to visit a wide range of schools with diverse teaching and learning methodologies and observe proven practices in action. New ideas that can be taken back to the classroom and readily implemented.
An in-depth understanding of the accreditation process, which can better prepare your own school for accreditation.
High-quality professional development and professional development credits at no cost. Living accommodations, meals and mileage are covered.

In response to COVID-19, all visits are currently being conducted fully or partially remote.

MSA-CESS is currently looking for dedicated and enthusiastic educators who are interested in volunteering to serve on a visiting team. Want to learn more? Contact accreditation@msa-cess.org to request additional information.
