On Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, we will kick off the “Year of the Middle States Network”  with an exclusive interview and Q&A session with distinguished education strategist and author Michael B. Horn

Michael’s latest must-read book, From Reopen to Reinvent: (Re)Creating School for Every Child, “provides a practical toolbox for K-12 educators, parents, and school board members to disrupt the educational process and introduce new ways of dealing with old problems.”

Michael is the co-founder of and a distinguished fellow at the Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation, a non-profit think tank, and he is an adjunct lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

He cohosts the top education podcasts Future U and Class Disrupted. He regularly contributes to and writes the Substack newsletter The Future of Education. Michael also serves as an executive editor at Education Next. His work has been featured in outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, Harvard Business Review, and NBC.

The Year of the Middle States Network aims to unlock the power of innovative and skilled educators from around the globe to help us — you, me, our colleagues — lead positive change in our schools and the wider education community.

Starting with our conversation with Michael, we will offer events and experiences that draw on the strength of the Middle States network. Through panel discussions, interviews with experts, workshops, and more, you will have the chance to connect with peers and share in the collective wisdom of our network.

Please help us kick off the Year of the Middle States Network by joining us at noon on Oct. 24 for a thought-provoking and inspiring conversation with Michael about reimagining education.
