Volunteer Highlight: Joe Goode

By February 16, 2021December 18th, 2021No Comments
Joseph Goode is a retired high school principal from Benton, Pa. Involved with Middle States since 1985, he began chairing visits in 2010 and by 2019 was chairing Career Tech visits.

According to Joe, “I am committed to  MSA and what they do and feel I have much to offer schools and the colleagues I work with. I have varied background having worked with federal education systems, private schools and public schools. I enjoy what I do and see my efforts as giving back to the profession that gave me so much over my 42-year tenure. I was honored in 2017 to receive the Middle States Volunteer of the Year award and was given the designation of Middle States Ambassador, which I proudly carry. The current virtual visits are very different but just as rewarding as the in-person visits. The systems developed have worked well for me and actually allows me to take on more visits. I intend to be a part of Middle States as long as I am able.”
